THE 1ST ANNUAL POLISH FLAG RAISING CEREMONY AND CULTURAL DAY

We invite everyone to join us in the First Annual Polish Flag Raising Ceremony and Cultural Day in Santa Clara County.
In the previous years the Polish Day has been proclaimed in the San Jose City. This year, for the first time, it will be proclaimed in the Santa Clara County.
The ceremony will take place on Friday, September 17, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM at County Government Center, 70 W. Hedding St., San Jose (corner of Hedding St. and First St.).
Special Guests will be:
Paulina Kapuscinski - Consul of Poland - Los Angeles,
Christopher Kerosky - Honorary Consul of Poland - San Francisco.

Volunteers needed for President Walesa event

The Goetz Academy Project is looking for volunteers to work as registration representatives, parking attendants and others during our fundraising event at the Athenian School in Danville, CA., to be held on Sunday, September 26 from 2:00 p.m. to approx 6:00 p.m. Lech Walesa, the Nobel Peace Prize winner and former President of Poland will be the main guest and speaker during the event. In return for their work, volunteers will receive free admission and a group picture with President Walesa.
